Botanical Constellations is an original screenprint by artist Rhianna Catt, available in two striking variations: one printed on black paper for a bold, graphic presence, and the other on cream paper for a softer, more subtle finish.

This piece was inspired by a quiet moment during the artist’s honeymoon, when she and her husband found themselves unexpectedly stranded in a remote area. While waiting for a train, they sat on a stone wall where a wild bloom of delicate flowers had taken root in the cracks. That striking image — of life flourishing seemingly from nothing — stayed with her.

In this work, the background has been removed entirely, heightening the sense of plants emerging from a void. The resulting composition evokes the appearance of a constellation, with small blossoms and connecting stems forming intricate, celestial-like patterns — a reflection on resilience, quiet beauty, and the unexpected places life can take root.
